Historically, the legendary Shangri-La Resort and Country Club, located at the tip of Monkey Island, served as the cornerstone of Grand Lake’s tourism and economic development efforts.  Many full and part-time residents recall their love affair with Grand Lake began with a trip to Shangri-La.  In 2010, under new ownership by longtime Grand Laker Eddy Gibbs, Shangri-La Country Club is undergoing a complete facelift with construction of a new 13,000 square foot club house and a complete renovation of the magnificent golf course. Shangri-La has once again become the epicenter of Grand Lake activity.  It is truly the Golf Capital of America’s Heartland.

Shangri-La Country Club is nestled amidst a naturally wooded area with over 415 acres of pristine landscape at the tip of Monkey Island in the center of beautiful Grand Lake, offering sweeping panoramic views of this breathtaking body of water. The prestigious golf course, soon to include an elite level club house, first class restaurant and lounge, and state-of-the-art fitness center offers members and guests the ultimate golf escape.

Shangri-La Country Club offers 18 holes of Championship Golf on Grand Lake's only 4.5 Star Golf Digest rated course. The golf course and the lake feature unlimited recreational opportunities for family and friends, including stay-and-play packages featuring luxurious lodging and unlimited golf. • Eligibility to enroll in private golf cart trail fee program (substantial savings vs. cart rental)
• Advanced tee times and morning preferences on weekends and holidays
• Free use of 12 acre Championship Practice Facility including unlimited range balls
• Eligibility to play in Men’s and Ladies golf associations and events

• Initiation Fee: $0
• Annual dues: $3,588  or $299 if elect to pay monthly.

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP
