Amazing Weekend at Shangri-La

There are some changes in Hours of Operation for the Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar beginning in the coming week.  Saturday, both the Summit and Buffalo Bar will close at 2:00 p.m. to accommodate a special private event that evening. Chef’s culinary crew will be hosting a cook-out on the south patio for those desiring food service Saturday afternoon & evening – and we’ll have a bar set-up on the south patio, as well. Sunday is the last day of Sunday-Monday dinner service for 2016. Winter hours begin Monday – Open for lunch Thursday-Tuesday, and dinner serviceThursday-Saturday – Closed Wednesday. Summit and Buffalo Bar hours beginning Monday will beSunday-Tuesday, 10:30-5:00; Thursday 10:30-9:00; Friday & Saturday 10:30-10:00.
 
On the Buffalo Bar Sports Screens, there are great college games Saturday. OSU is at Kansas at11:00. Please note, due to Saturday’s early closing, we will not have coverage of the Tulsa/Tulane, OU/Texas Tech or Arkansas/Auburn games except in the Golf Shop.
 
There are great NFL games Thursday night and Sunday, as well as NASCAR action Sundayafternoon, coverage of the PGA Tour event from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and, of course, continuing coverage of both the American and National League Championship Series playoff games deciding which two teams will compete in the 2016 World Series which begins Tuesday.
 
If you haven’t already made reservations to join us for the Halloween Costume Party & Buffet (October 29) or our special Michael Zinke Wine Dinner at the Summit Saturday evening, November 5, please call 918-257-4200 or email summit@shangrilaok.com for reservations. Remember the Summit Restaurant is open for dinner service Thursday, Friday & Sunday this week, as well as lunch service on Saturday, Monday, & Tuesday. In addition to the Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar, the Turn House is also open daily with snacks, sandwiches and beverages for golfers on the run.
 
Sail Grand remains open by appointment for boat and personal watercraft rentals, parasailing and yacht charters out of Shangri-La Marina.  Reservations are a must. Call 918-257-6000. It looks like a really nice fall weekend ahead.  We hope you will spend some of it with us at Shangri-La.
