Spooky Weekend at Shangri-La

As you plan your schedule, remember the Summit Restaurant and Buffalo Bar are operating on scheduled winter hours of operation. Sunday-Tuesday, 10:30-5:00; Thursday 10:30-9:00; Friday &Saturday 10:30-10:00.
 
Saturday night is our annual Halloween Costume Party & Buffet Dinner ($29.95) from 5:00-9:00 p.m.Come join in the fun, enjoy great food – and compete for “best costume” prizes!
 
If you haven’t already made reservations to join us for the special Michael Zinke Wine Dinner at the Summit Saturday evening, November 5, please call 918-257-4200 or emailsummit@shangrilaok.com for reservations ($125 pp). Remember, members of our Wine Club may attend this dinner at no charge – but reservations are still required.  There will be no regular dinner service at the Summit Saturday evening, November 5, due to the scheduled wine dinner.
 
Monday is a special play day for the Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association.  The format is Mixed Scramble – but the gals are all encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for a day of great fun on the course.
 
There is great sports action this week in the Buffalo Bar including two golf tournaments (WGC-HSBC Champions and Sanderson Farms Championship), World Series action (Cleveland at Chicago Friday & Saturday nights), NBA Regular Season action (including Phoenix at the OKC Thunder Friday night), Sunday afternoon NASCAR action and, of course great college and NFL football action.
 
In college football action, Arkansas is idle this week. OSU hosts West Virginia for HomecomingSaturday at 11:00, Kansas is at Oklahoma at 6:00, and Tulsa is at Memphis at 7:00. Naturally, we’ll have all the big games.
 
Our coverage of top NFL games this week includes Jacksonville at Tennessee Thursday night, New England at Buffalo and Seattle at New Orleans, both Sunday at noon.
 
It looks like a really nice fall weekend ahead.  Hopefully, you can get out on the golf course or on the water but, at any rate, we hope you will spend some of it with us at Shangri-La. Happy Halloween!
