Grand Lakes Welcome Back Weekend
The official and annual re-opening of Grand Lake, dubbed Welcome Back Weekend for over twenty years, is scheduled to unfold March 2nd. The traditional Poker Run, an event which attracted nearly 400 participants in the event’s inaugural year, remains the backbone of one of the most popular off season weekends ever unveiled on Oklahoma’s premiere lake.
Things get off to a start on Friday morning with a bus trip to Neodesha, Kansas for our annual dream tour of the Cobalt Boat factory. We strongly recommend your going on this tour. We will have a box breakfast on the bus, A tour of the factory including lunch in the plant. We will then return to the Cherokee Yacht Club for a fantastic dinner that evening. There will be a bus from Arkansas and Oklahoma. The Arkansas bus will return to Rogers after the dinner. You must make a reservation to attend this event.

This year’s competition will be conducted as in past years with tokens being picked up at each of the stops, which includes Arrowhead Yacht Club, Cedar Port Marina, VIP Pizza-Hammerhead Marina, Mooney's Sunset Bar & Grill and Cherokee Yacht Club, and then exchanged for playing cards to determine the winning hands will be held at the "Titanic" Party at the Cherokee Yacht Club.
