About Cherokee State Park

Cherokee State Park is located in Northeastern Oklahoma on the shores of Grand Lake O’ Cherokees, one of Oklahoma’s largest lakes. The park consist of several small park areas located near Pensacola Dam. The area is known for great fishing, camping, swimming, water sports, and much more!

The Riverside Area, located below Pensacola Dam and known for great fishing. Amenities include picnic sites, a group shelter, comfort stations, boat ramp, 18 RV sites, 50 tent campsites, and a 9-hole golf course.

Lakeside area features a swimming beach, a group shelter, 12 RV sites, 15 tent campsites, and a comfort station.

The Grand View features 45 tent sites, 4 RV Sites with electric service only, group shelter, and a comfort station.

The Riverside area is located below the Pensacola Dam, features 18 RV sites, 50 tent sites, group shelter, and a boat ramp with access to the river.

The Grand Cherokee area, also located below the Pensacola Dam, features a comfort station with showers, 13 RV sites with full hookups including 50 amp electric, some with pull-thru service.
