Our founder Sam Bass established a goal of focusing on customer service when he started the tire dealership and service center in 1985.

Providing great customer service was the foundation Sam's Tire shop was built on. And, it continues to be our focus today.

Sam and his wife, Teresa, ran the business until 1997, when Sam decided to retire from the tire center and drive semis cross-country. Today, Sam is fully retired but still comes to the shop to make sure we continue to offer the same great customer service he did.

A second-generation business, Sam's Tire Shop is now owned and operated by Sam "Dink" Bass Jr., who took over the reins of the business from his father in 1997.

In 2004, Kimberly Pifer joined her brother in the family business. As the office manager, Kimberly helps keep Sam's Tire Shop  running, while Dink focuses on keeping our customers' vehicles rolling.

The Bass family and our experienced, well-trained staff have spent the last 30-plus years delivering quality tires and services to satisfied customers from the same location, 436 South Wilson St., Sam Bass originally opened all those years ago.

We can't count how many tires we've installed over the years or how many vehicles have been serviced in our four bays, but we do know that every tire and service was providing following Sam's example of offering honest and reliable service to our customers..
