A Place to Grow

When considering schools to begin your child's education, you want to know you're on the right path from day one. St. Andrew's Day Care and School offers a unique and immersive education opportunity for Grand Lake area youngsters that puts a primary focus on developing well-rounded people. Our purpose: To assist parents in the nurturing of their child’s spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth and development.

St. Andrew's Day Care and School officially registered with the State of Oklahoma as a not-for-profit Educational Corporation, on Jan 14, 2021, and opened that February. Since then, St. Andrew's has maintained the highest quality standards for a learning facility. The school has passed all inspections with both DHS and Tribal organizations with flying colors, receiving perfect marks each time. St. Andrew's has earned a 2-Star rating, the highest rating available for a first year facility, and expects to get a perfect 3-Star rating on their one year anniversary of opening on Feb. 1, 2022.

How we differ from other schools

We put students first at St. Andrew’s Day Care and School. Led by Director Talitha Daniels, an Oklahoma-licensed Day Care Director, we provide structured daily lesson plans that feature immersion experiences; such as: Special musical presentations, Native American presentations, art programs, American History experiences, vegetable garden, and much more.

Our Art Teacher, Ms. Judy Campbell, is a retired teacher and horse and cattle rancher. Through Ms. Campbell's generosity, the students have been afforded unique opportunities including getting to bottle feed a calf.

St. Andrew’s provides non-denominational Christian curriculum designed especially for ages 2-5 years. We do not teach religious doctrine. Instead, we aim to teach the basics of faith and spirituality. 

Our programs will help our children be better prepared for Grade School, and the rest of their lives.

Our Mission

We strive to make the world a better place through educating young children, and we love every child in our care. At St. Andrew's Day Care and School, students are educated in all four primary areas of development: Intellectual, physical, social, and emotional. By taking a full spectrum approach to teaching, we hope to build a solid reputation in the community for doing all of the above.

The school is open from 7am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday, and closed on most holidays. St. Andrew’s accepts subsidies from OKDHS and all Native American Tribes. Contact our Office for more information at (918) 786-1022.
