The full, modern kitchen at our school provides wholesome and healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks).
St. Andrew's Day Care and School takes a full spectrum approach to education that goes right down to every detail, including what snacks we give the students. Our kitchen is fully equipped with four ovens, nine burner tops, a microwave, fridge and freezer, washer and dryer, and a commercial hood with fire suppression systems.
We employ a full-time professional cook to freshly prepare every meal with an emphasis on proper nutritional balance. These carefully thought out cuisines are made free of High-Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG, Trans-Fats, and excessive preservatives and artificial ingredients.
Vegetable Garden
During the summer months our children have a unique and rewarding opportunity, thanks to a partnership with the Cherokee Nation. Kids enrolled in St. Andrew's Day Care and School get to grow a variety of vegetables generously donated by the tribe. Experiencing "garden to plate" firsthand has proven to be both a valuable and popular learning tool for the children.
