Gieser Plumbing, a locally-owned and operated business with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Estimator to join our team. This role is crucial to our operation as it involves the calculation of costs and resources needed for projects. We are looking for a professional who shares our commitment to providing top-tier plumbing services to our community.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing services including service & repairs, new construction & remodels, and excavation.
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Consult with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Use specialized software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Present prepared estimates to clients, when needed.
Work collaboratively with our team of professionals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar position.
Dependable transportation, current driver's license and a working cell phone.
Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset.
Proficient in relevant software (e.g. Timberline, HCSS HeavyBid).
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Attention to detail.
