Chamber Connection Luncheon

The Chamber Connection Luncheon was held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Grove Community Center, featuring guest speaker Barbara Barnes, Delaware County Clerk. She spoke about the many responsibilities of the Clerk's office. She brought an incredible display of old record books, some of which have been preserved. We learned about the Delaware County Schoolhouse Preservation Project in which she will be speaking next week in Oklahoma City to the Historical Society about getting it on the National Register. An application has been submitted for a grant to repair the roof which is in critical condition. Thanks so much to Barbara for her passion and dedication to preserving the local history.
