Escape to Thousand Oaks Resort and Unwind at Oklahoma’s Most Relaxing Resort

Work, family, meetings, housework, emails, carpool …

When the daily hustle and bustle of life starts to get overwhelming, sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax.

Whether your idea of relaxation is strolling through woodland trails, playing a pick-up game of basketball, soaking in a hot tub, lounging poolside or napping in a hammock, you’ll find it at Thousand Oaks Resort.

Located in Langley, near Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees, Thousand Oaks Resort is an adults-only resort, so find a sitter and escape to the peace and quiet offered by the beautiful, 30-acre, oak tree-lined resort.

Oklahoma’s most relaxing resort, Thousand Oaks Resort is the perfect place to unwind with friends, spend a romantic getaway with your partner or just disappear for the weekend.

The family-owned and operated resort is newly remodeled with modern accommodations. There are 16 updated cabins, 11 of which have private hot tubs. Most of the cabins have full kitchens and living areas. All of them offer modern furnishings, coffee makers and Roku TVs. An RV spot with full hookups is also available at Thousand Oaks Resort.

All of the cabins at Thousand Oaks Resort comfortably sleep two people, while three of the cabins can accommodate up to four people.

If you can bring yourself to leave your cozy quarters, you’ll find plenty to do at the resort. The on-site amenities at Thousand Oaks Resort include a saltwater pool that is open during the summer, a 24/7 game room/rec center with a pool table, arcade machines, board games and other fun activities, walking trails at the back of the property and fire pits for a night of s’mores by the fire. The resort also now offers room service.

Thousand Oaks Resort is also home to Harmony Coffee Co., an on-site coffee shop that is open to the public as well as resort guests. Its menu includes an array of coffees, teas and energy drinks, as well as a selection of charcuterie boards for lunch and breakfast.

The adventurous can now choose from coffee and Tiki Breeze flights in several different sizes, including 4 and 5-ounce drinks and coffee as well.

Harmony Coffee Co. has an expanded seating area called “The Green Room” for hanging out with friends, as well as a quiet space with desks where patrons can get some work or studying done. Or take advantage of the area’s natural beauty and enjoy your coffee on the resort’s expanded gazebo.

The coffee shop is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is an 18+ establishment, so if you are accompanied by anyone under the age of 18, place your order for curbside pickup.

To make your stay even more magical, Thousand Oaks Resort offers a variety of amazing packages and add-ons available. The selection available includes food and drink packages, like munchie packs, charcuterie boards and boxed lunches, and special occasion add-ons, including gourmet and essential romance packages, as well as fun stuff like scavenger hunts, paint-by-number sets and Stundenglass gravity bong and Puffco Plus rentals.

Pets are allowed in several of the cabins at Thousand Oaks Resort. Contact the resort for more information about fees, weight limit, rules, etc.

Thousand Oaks Resort is the perfect venue for family reunions, weddings, retreats, and birthday parties, as well as corporate events, dances, galas and holiday celebrations.

The resort’s event center, Black Oak Barn, is a beautiful facility that can accommodate up to 100 people. It offers inviting natural lighting, wood floors and an open floor plan. It is also equipped with a kitchen, restrooms, a PA system and two entrances. A limited supple of decor, tables, chairs and other essentials are also available.

In addition, the entire resort can be rented, including all 16 cabins, access to the event space and all resort amenities.

In addition to being adults-only, the resort is also cannabis friendly. Whether you smoke, eat, dab or vape, you can take your relaxation to the next level at Thousand Oaks Resort.

Cannabis consumption is allowed anywhere on the property, except in the pool (but it is allowed on the pool decks).

For those who aren’t a cannabis consumer, Thousand Oaks Resort uses very intensive cleaning procedures that include odor removal and hospital-grade sanitizing machines between each stay. That means you’ll only smell cannabis inside your cabin if you are the one consuming it.

Thousand Oaks Resort is located at 446724 East 390 Road, just minutes from the historic Pensacola Dam, which you can reach without crossing the bridge, and is close to Grand Lake and the Cherokee State Park.
