Valentine’s Day is knocking on our doors, and love is in the air. Our local businesses want to take some of the pressure out of your day! We know everyone is looking to do something special for their sweetheart to show them how much you care. We decided to compile a list of Grand Lake area offers to celebrate this romantic holiday.

Looking for a place to take your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day? Treat your special someone to a romantic dinner at the Lighthouse Restaurant.
A Grand Lake favorite known for serving the area’s best steaks, the Lighthouse Restaurant will be offering a Valentine’s Day special for couples on Tuesday, February 14. Their regular menu will also be available. So you can celebrate with your loved one on Valentine’s Day.
The Valentine’s Day special dinner will start with a crabbed stuffed portobello mushroom appetizer. For the entrée, you will enjoy a 30 oz Tomahawk steak for two with your choice of Balsamic Brussel Sprouts or Mashed Potatoes. The dinner will include a glass of red wine per person and, for dessert, the Lighthouse will be serving a slice of Chocolate Mousse Topped with Strawberries.
The Valentine’s Day Special is $100 per couple and is available from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. Reservations are required.

Grand Lake barbecue lovers are in for a treat, Terry and Carolyn Eskew from The Parrot Steakhouse & Grill are bringing you a signature barbecue menu that features beef, chicken, pork butts, and ribs that are sure to knock your socks off!

Doc’s Bar and Grill at Shangri-La Resort will be featuring a special Valentine’s February 10th - 14th.
“Bring your loved one in for a special dinner at Doc’s! We have a delicious menu to choose from that everyone will enjoy,” said a spokesperson for Doc’s Bar and Grill.
The special Valentine’s meal includes Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer, Roasted Bruschetta Chicken for an entree, and Lovers Cheesecake for dessert. Summit Restaurant offers the finest dining at our Grand Lake resort and has a special Valentine’s Day menu for $60 a person. Options include Tomato Basil Bisque for starters, Broiled Lobster Tails for an entree, and Lustful Lava Cake for dessert.

The Summit
Grand Lake’s finest dining experience, The Summit Restaurant at Shangri-La Resort is celebrating the holiday with a special valentine’s menu, Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Members can enjoy the special Valentine’s menu that begins with an appetizer, Strawberry salad, or Tomato basil bisque.
For the first course, you can choose from our delicious Tuscan strip or Broiled lobster tail.
Last, but definitely not least, is the dessert course — your choice of a Lustful lava cake or Lover's cheesecake.
The Valentine’s menu is $60 a person (wine not included).
