Harp Law ribbon cutting and mural dedication

GROVE - Bryce P. Harp of Harp Law, Abby Harp, Kimberly Clark, the Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors, and the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the Harp Law mural dedication and ribbon cutting on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 10:00 – 10:30am. The dedication features a mural commissioned by Ms. Kimberly Clark and located at the Harp Law building at 33 W. 3rd Street. The piece by the artist Malorie Anderson and, titled, Grove – The Crown Jewel of Northeast Oklahoma, captures and celebrates the spirit of Grove, Oklahoma, and was made possible by generous contributions from Harp Law, the Harp family, and the Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors. We will dedicate the mural to the City of Grove and its citizens before the ribbon cutting, and we invite everyone to come inside after to see the beautiful renovations to the historic Harp Law building.

Background
Attorney Bryce P. Harp and his wife, Abby, were inspired by the recent downtown revitalization and wanted to contribute by restoring the historic building at 33 W. 3rd Street. Abby deserves 100% credit for the success of the renovation. Local realtor and community pillar, Kimberly Clark, commissioned Malorie Anderson of Tahlequah to design and paint the mural. Now we may all enjoy this beautiful addition to downtown Grove thanks to Ms. Clark’s initiative and thanks to generous contributions from Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors, Harp Law, and the Harp Family.

“It’s something to welcome everyone to town, let them know what Grove is about, and to honor our history and identity. The mural is already a popular backdrop for family photos, graduation pictures, and engagement photos. My family and I are so grateful to be a part of this community, and this mural is a small token of our appreciation for the people and businesses that make Grove the jewel of northeast Oklahoma.” – Bryce P. Harp

“This mural was inspired by all the colorful vintage artwork popping up in our surrounding areas as a focal point to their City. I could see the vision so clearly looking at the blank brick canvas for The City of Grove! I’m so happy to have had the support and enthusiasm by both our local board of realtors and the Harp Family, without whom this wouldn’t have been possible!” – Kimberly Clark
