The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered at DK Home Accents and Design in a Kilt on Thursday, June 9 for a double ribbon cutting. The businesses are owned by Reid and Stephanie Smith. DK Home Accents, a unique and eclectic store featuring trending furniture and home decor, is an extension of the design/building firm Design in a Kilt. Reid's Design in a Kilt specializes in both residential and commercial properties. No doubt you have seen some of Reid's work which include Eddy's Bar and Grill, The Muddy Pearl, The Rusty Willow as well as many other businesses and residential properties throughout downtown Grove and the Grand Lake Area. Their location, a landmark building of Grove located at 20 W. 3rd, has been completely refurbished into a beautiful and fun multi-purpose business which not only includes Reid's residential and design business, but also includes Stephanie's pretties for the home as well as a coffee bar, freshly baked goods, and some super tasty chocolate items. If you haven't been in, you are truly missing out! Stop in and grab a latte or frappe and enjoy some truly distinctive shopping in a shop owned by a couple that are both talented and gifted.
