A Ribbon Cutting was held for Eyecare of Grand Lake by the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Thursday, December 8th. Eyecare of Grand Lake is located at 720 S. Main St. in Grove and is owned by resident Optometrist Jordyn Barnwell. Before opening her own eye care facility in Grove, Jordyn worked for Harrel Eyecare in Tulsa. Jordyn also worked for many years at Arvest Bank while attending NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry. Eyecare of Grand Lake strives to provide the Grand Lake and surrounding areas a personalized eye exam that is efficient, thorough and precise to their individual needs. They offer your normal annual eye exam for glasses and contacts, as well as a number of medical eye exams. Medical Eye exams range from diabetic, glaucoma, macular degeneration and also a variety of ocular surface issues, such as dry eye and allergic eye issues. They happily see infants starting at 6 months of age and specialize in pediatrics and are happy to see urgent exams such as welder's burn, foreign body removal, eye infections, and eyelid infections etc.
