Turkey Ford Grants
Grove Rotary recently presented Turkey Ford Elementary with two grants that totaled $2,367 as part of their Community Giving Program. Mary Hardesty accepted a $1,367 check for a 3-D printer for use by S.T.E.M. students from Kristi Wallace, Rotary Chair of the Rotary Charitable Contributions Committee. The second grant of $1,000 was accepted by Sunny Smart and will be used to purchase a video gaming platform that will be also used as part of the S.T.E.M. program. The grants are two of 47 grants totaling $88,970.48 that were presented by the Grove Rotary Club for projects in the Grand Lake area.
