Heave Must Have Been Lonely by Jewels From The Word

Heaven must have been lonely without Jesus. For nine months, the anticipation had been building in heaven as Jesus' little body was growing from a tiny embryo into a baby capable of living outside the womb. The angels had watched and waited, knowing Jesus was being nurtured and protected by Mary's physical body until that moment when He would be born, as the prophets anointed by God had foretold.

The angels must have wondered if this plan would work. This plan, for God to become human and live on earth, was beyond their angelic comprehension. If it came to pass as God had foretold, would the rest of the plan be accomplished? Not that they doubted God, but nothing like this had ever happened before. Who would have ever believed that the God of the universe, the Maker of the Earth and all the creatures in it, would stoop so low as to become one of them? The Creator became the created. The Master became the slave. The Teacher became the student. God became man.

After all, Jesus laid aside all His divine power when He willingly accepted the body of a human baby. Now the results of God's plan, the outcome of the great human experiment, rested in the arms of a young girl. The destiny of the whole human race depended on a peasant girl named Mary, her common-laborer husband, Joseph, and the baby she held in her arms who was the Son of God.

All heaven rejoiced on the night Jesus was born. The plan had begun. Step one was accomplished.“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
 Luke 2:11 NKJV.

We know now how it all turned out. Jesus was born, lived a perfect life, died, and rose again to save the world from sin. Now we can rejoice with the angels as we remember His birth, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
