Rotary Challenge Grant for Second Chance Pet Rescue
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Second Chance Pet Rescue has applied for a grant from the Grove, OK, Rotary Foundation to purchase approximately $4,000 of shelter equipment upgrades for required cat enclosures/cages (due to the latest state and federal minimum size requirements), commercial washing machine to handle the seven-day-a-week loads of heavy blankets and bedding (household size washers will not accommodate the daily use of large loads), and an exam table for in-house examinations of shelter animals.
The Rotary Foundation has approved up to a maximum of $2,002 for this urgently needed equipment as a "Rotary Challenge Grant". Second Chance Pet Rescue must raise the balance of $2,000 in order to receive the maximum amount of $2,002 for the Rotary Foundation Grant.
A deadline of January 30 has been set to raise matching funds so that needed equipment can be purchased on the earliest possible date for the welfare of our rescued cats.
