Upcoming "Online" Holiday Dessert Charity Auction to Benefit SC Pet Rescue
Regrettably, one of Grove's favorite holiday traditions - Second Chance Pet Rescue's Annual Christmas Breakfast - has been canceled this year due to Covid-19 safety concerns. But there is great news because Second Chance Pet Rescue will be hosting a Holiday Dessert Online Charity Auction. Everyone can still enjoy the chance to win fabulous desserts - just in time for your family's Holiday gatherings.

The online bidding will begin Friday, December 11, at 8 am, and individuals can continue to bid on desserts until the auction closes at 6 pm on Friday, December 18. Be sure to check the auction site often to place your winning bid. Winners will be notified and credit card payments are processed through the auction's secured payment system.
Desserts will then be available for curbside pickup on Saturday, December 19, from Noon to 4 pm at the Second Chance Thrift Shop at 220 E. 3rd Street, in Grove. Delivery of desserts within a 25 mile radius of the Grove city limits may be arranged for a $10 delivery fee. Second Chance Pet Rescue greatly appreciates the public support of our non-profit animal rescue, but due to the pandemic restrictions placing a hardship on everyone, the rescue organization is in a financial crisis. We are hoping the public will support this fun and safe fundraising event which will benefit the homeless animals.
