Busy Weekend at Shangri-La

Shangri-La Resort is a busy place this week. Friday evening, Eddy Gibbs is hosting a fundraising reception for Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb’s gubernatorial campaign. If you are so inclined, we hope you will make a point to join Eddy and Governor Lamb for that fundraiser Friday, August 11from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Holderman Room at the hotel.
 
We are also pleased to welcome Dell EMC and KMT Waterjet for Shangri-La retreats this week, as well as the Bulten Family, the Lobster Golf Group, the Swift Golf Group, and Leather Helmets. It should be a fun weekend.
 
We are particularly pleased to welcome the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association as they return to Shangri-La for the sixth consecutive year Monday & Tuesday for the WOGA Partnership Championship Tournament.
 
Friday afternoon at 5:00 is our weekly “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race ($10 entry). Contact the Golf Shop if you would like to sign up. Monday morning, the ladies of the Women’s Golf Association will not have their regular play day, due to hosting the WOGA Partnership Championship Tournament players.
 
Remember, the Spa at Shangri-La is now open at the hotel Thursday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Call 918-257-4204, Extension 7008 for reservations for massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, IV therapy, botox or filler treatment. The girls at the spa also have mani-pedi packages for kids!
