The Shangri-La weekend kicks of Thursday night at Doc’s with Chef Mike’s fabulous food and Jason Morgan’s great entertainment at the Thursday Night Karaoke & Shrimp Boil from 6:00-9:00.

LAST HORSE RACE

Friday afternoon is our weekly “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race beginning at 5:00. Sign up at the golf shop to be a part of this Friday fun. This is your last chance until Spring. This Friday is the last Horse Race of the season.

OU, OSU, TU FOOTBALL

The Grand Lake headquarters for your favorite sporting events is Doc’s Bar & Grill – and there’s a full day of college football Saturday. It’s Homecoming weekend for both OU and OSU. Saturday morning at 11:00, Oklahoma hosts West Virginia. At 2:30, Tulsa is on the road at Cincinnati. Oklahoma State hosts Baylor at 3:00.

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!

Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is served from 9:00-2:00. Regular breakfast menu items are available until 11:00 a.m. with lunch menu items available after 11:00. Doc’s is always open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced at $14-$16.  This week’s featured Sunday Brunch Specials include Beef Bleu Benedict, a Northwest Bagel, Snickerdoodle French Toast, California Toad in a Hole, and Ponchartrain Poutine.

Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.

SLWGA PLAY DAY

The Shangri-La Women’s Golf Association will be on the course for their regular Play Day Monday morning. This week’s format is Bingo, Bango, Bongo.

Trivia, Tacos & Tequila Tuesday

Don’t forget to mark your calendar to join us every Tuesday evening for Trivia, Tacos & Tequila Tuesday at Doc’s from 6:00-9:00 p.m. It’s great fun, great food, and great beverages. Trivia competition hosted by our own Jason Morgan, $3 award-winning tacos (or 3 for $8) and a variety of tequila choices including $5 margarita specials.
