Eddy’s is still open, there’s Karaoke & Shrimp Boil fun, a movie at the pool Friday night and a great band at Eddy’s Saturday night. The fun season rolls on at Shangri-La!

We’ll start the weekend this week on the golf course with the Thursday Night Scramble at 5:00 and, of course, the Thursday Night “Cave Karaoke and Shrimp Boil” with great karaoke fun with the talented Jason Morgan! Due to a scheduling conflict this week’s Karaoke & Shrimp Boil will be inside Doc’s Bar & Grill. Plan ahead. There is also a conflict next Thursday. The September 19 Shrimp Boil will be at Eddy’s.

Friday evening is the “Yellow Rabbit Run” Horse Race at 5:00 and a Movie at the Pool at 8:15 (Bumblebee).  Saturday morning we will have a Breakfast Burrito Bar outside the golf shop and the MGA Breakfast Club will be heading out on the course for a 2-man scramble. Saturday morning there is also a free short game clinic – and there’s a fabulous band – After Party – Saturday night at Eddy’s.

Monday, we’ll offer Golf Course Fishing from 8:30-10:00 and the SLWGA ladies will have their regular Play Day (Low Gross/Low Net). Tuesday morning the SLWGA will host a Green Country Interclub Tournament.

We are always happy for an opportunity to share the story of all the available amenities at Shangri-La and our efforts to boost the entire Grand Lake economy. Next Wednesday (September 18) Shangri-La President & CEO Barry Willingham will speak to the Grove Rotary Club. The next day, September 19, he will address the South Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon, followed by a South Grand Chamber Business After Hours on the Doc’s Upstairs Terrace that same evening (5:00-7:00).

EDDY’S IS OPEN ALL MONTH

YES, EDDY’S WILL REMAIN OPEN for normal hours of fun Friday, Saturday & Sunday through September. We will have great bands every Saturday night including After Party this week, followed by Hi-Fidelics next week (21^st) and Western Justice on the 28th.

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT DOC’S!

Sunday Brunch at Doc’s is served from 9:00-2:00. Doc’s is always open to the general public; and brunch specials are priced between $13-$15. In addition to regular menu items, this week’s Sunday Brunch Specials include Cuban Benedict, an Ultimate BBQ Baked Potato, Carrot Cake Pancakes, Doc’s Loaded Breakfast Wrap, and a Shrimp & Andouille Skillet.

Remember, too, that Doc’s Bar & Grill offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
