LAST WEEKEND AT EDDY'S - DOC'S REOPENS NEXT WEEK!

It's been an incredible season at Eddy's Lakeside Bar but, as they say, all good things must come to an end. This is the last weekend of the season at Eddy's. The weather looks fabulous this weekend, so plan to join us for one last weekend on the deck. We'll also have the OSU-Tulsa football game LIVE at 11:00 Saturday morning. Eddy's will be open this weekend from 11:00 a.m.-Close Friday & Saturday, and 11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Sunday. There's another old saying - when one door closes, another one opens. Doc's Bar & Grill at the Resort Hotel will reopen Thursday, September 24 for lunch and dinner service seven days a week. Beginning September 24, Doc's will be reopen for dine-in service from 11:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Friday & Saturday. 

Naturally, to-go orders will still be offered at Doc's daily. Call 918-257-7777 to place your order.  

SUMMIT RESTAURANT  - FOOD & BEVERAGE FOR MEMBERS & GUESTS 

The Summit Restaurant is open for lunch (11:00-5:00) for members and resort guests daily. Dinner service is offered Thursday & Sunday until 9:00 p.m. and Friday & Saturday until 10:00. Terry Jordan will entertain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at The Summit. Club house food & beverage service is also available at The Turn House daily from 8:00-6:00.

WEEKLY SEAFOOD SPECIAL THURSDAY-SUNDAY AT THE SUMMIT!

This week we have an incredible treat. Honolulu Fish Company was able to team up with their sister company in Seattle and bring Fresh Loch Etive Scottish Steelhead Trout to our tables at the Summit. This is a delicate sea trout that is a rare treat.  Loch Etive Steelhead Trout are raised in a remote, pristine environment with pur waters and fast-flowing currents. They are antibiotic free, all-natural, no growth promoters, no hormones and have a GMO-free feed.  This fish comes from Northern Argyll on the west coast of Scotland.

Our Seafood Special is "Scottish Steelhead Trout a la Meuniere" - Pan Seared Trout Fillet, Traditional Meuniere Sauce (Butter, White Win, Shallots, Lemon, Parsley), Pan Seared Asparagus, and a Garlic-Parmesan Potato Cake. This week's special is priced at $30 per serving.

You may want to mention that you want to reserve the "Seafood Special" when you make your reservations at the Summit, because we only have 35 servings available.

THURSDAY NIGHT SHRIMP BOIL 

As always, there's a full schedule of FUN on the Shangri-La calendar this weekend. The popular Thursday Night Shrimp Boil is Thursday night from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Doc's Patio. Take your choice on the Shrimp Boil selections. Shrimp is $23 for a pount or $12 for a half-pound. If you like, you can select half shrimp and half Andouille sausage for $23. Jason Morgan will provide the karaoke entertainment - so bring your appetite and your singing voice and join the fun TONIGHT and every Thursday night.

GOLF, GOLF AND MORE GOLF

The weekend fun starts Thursday evening at 5:00 with the Thursday Night Scramble. Friday night, the "Yellow Rabbit Run" Horse Race gets underway at 5:00 p.m. Contact the Golf Shop if you would like to participate. The Shangri-La Women's Golf Association hosts their weekly play day Monday. 18-holers start at 9:00 and 9-holers tee off at 10:00. The weather looks great. It's going to be a beautiful weekend for golf at Shangri-La. 

WATER AEROBICS ARE BACK - NEW CLASS TIME

Certified instructor Mary Ellen Risinger is back and Water Aerobics Classes have resumed - but at a new time. Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the indoor pool at the resort. EXPANDED HOURS AT THE SPA AT SHANGRI-LA

The Spa at Shangri-La is now open four days a week with expanded hours of operation - Thursday-Sunday, utilizing COVID-19 Protocol. Hours of operation are Thursday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. No walk-ins are accepted at this time - appointment only. Spa employees will wear masks and clients are urged to wear them also (but not required). The Spa lobby will not be open to the public - only clients who are there for appointments.

BOAT RENTALS  AND PARASAILING AVAILABLE

Sail Grand has pontoons, tritoons, jet boats, and personal watercraft available for rental at Shangri-La Marina, as well as yacht charter service and Oklahoma's only parasailing adventures. Contact Sail Grand directly for reservations. 918-257-6000.  Shangri-La Marina (including fuel, pump-out and Ship Store services) is now open seven days a week from 9:00-5:00 utilizing COVID-19 Protocol.
