Upcoming Events at Shangri-La June 21-27, 2018

As we approach the Independence Day celebration, Shangri-La is a busy place; and we have very special guests with us this week. We are proud to host the Edward Jones Region 99 team members, Hughes Industries, the Professional Energy Marketers Association, Country Financial, the McClintock Group, the Spencer Party, the Mike Jackson Golf Group and the Prinz Golf Group this week.

On the golf course, we host the SLJPA Adult/Child Golf Challenge Friday, as well as our weekly “Yellow Rabbit Run” horse race. Monday, the SLWGA Ladies will be on the course for their regular Play Day along with the Home of Hope Special Olympics Golf Team. Next Wednesday, June 27, is a Junior Players Play Day.

At Eddy’s Lakeside Bar, “The Brent Giddens Band” will be on stage Saturdaynight providing musical entertainment from 8:00-11:00 p.m. Eddy’s will be open from 11:00-midnight Friday and Saturday – and from 11:00-6:00 Sunday.

Doc’s Bar & Grill now offers a weekend Breakfast Buffet from 7:00 a.m.-Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Choose from a Continental Breakfast or a Full Buffet.

Chef Michael and his culinary crew have a very special Sunday Brunch line-up for the Summit Restaurant this week (10:00-2:00). This week’s brunch selections include Maryland Eggs Benedict, Margherita Ciabatta, Bananas Foster French Toast, and a Mediterranean Frittata. The regular Buffalo Bar Menu is available at2:00 Sunday afternoon. The Summit now offers dinner service Thursday-Sundayand lunch service Thursday-Monday. Bar service is available Tuesday-Wednesday 11:00-6:00, as well – with food available from the expanded menu at The Turnhouse.

Doc’s Bar & Grill is open daily for three meals, and now offers Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
