IMPORTANT NEWS: Monday is the day we begin new Winter Hours of Operation at Doc’s Bar & Grill and the Summit Restaurant & Buffalo Bar. Please read this important information.

New Operating Schedules Upcoming for Doc’s and the Summit Beginning Monday!

As a reminder, Shangri-La dining options will be revised Monday. In order to ensure top-quality food and beverages and attentive service for our members and guests with a smaller off-season staff, once Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend, Shangri-La Resort will implement some operating and scheduling changes for Doc’s Bar & Grill and The Summit Restaurant.

Beginning Monday, November 5 we will offer seven-day-a-week breakfast and lunch service at Doc’s Bar & Grill and seven-day-a-week dinner service for members and hotel guests at The Summit Restaurant & Buffalo Bar. We will also expand the Summit dinner menu significantly to offer a wider variety of choices including some menu favorites from Doc’s. The seven-day-a-week dinner service at The Summit should also be of benefit to members as you make dining plans to meet off-season food minimums. This change for the off-season ensures that we still accommodate our members and guests three meals a day with the quality of food and service you expect.

Beginning Monday, November 5, Doc’s Bar & Grill will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. seven days a week. The Summit Restaurant will be open for members and hotel guests from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

A Special Evening Honoring the Memory of John “Doc” Jennings

Our culinary team will also be on the road this weekend for an event very near and dear to our hearts. The sold-out “Night at the Museum…The Grand Event!” is Friday night at the Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Broken Arrow. Hosted by “Night at the Museum Broken Arrow, the event will honor the memory of Dr. John “Doc” Jennings for whom Shangri-La’s “Doc’s Bar & Grill” is named. He will be honored with the very first Museum Broken Arrow Historical Impact Award. We are honored to be a part of this great event honoring Doc Jennings.

Chef Mike and his culinary crew also have a very special Sunday Brunch line-up for the Summit Restaurant this week (10:00-2:00). In addition to a great menu, we also offer a great selection of brunch libations. Ask about our Café Cocktails. If you prefer, there’s also a great breakfast menu at Doc’s – and beginning next week, Sunday, November 11, the weekly Sunday Shangri-La Brunch will move from The Summit to Doc’s.

Doc’s continues to offer Pizza Delivery Service on Monkey Island Thursday-Monday. There is a phone number dedicated exclusively to that service. If you live on the Island, just call 918-257-7777 and place your order. We’ll bring it right to your door.
