Family-owned and operated full-service plumbing company offers complete professional residential and commercial services around South Grand Lake and surrounding communities.
"Trace Gieser is a complete human being and a better plumber. Trace worked for our company for five years back in Tujunga, California, Customers would request for him to be sent out and, if he was busy, they would happily wait. Oklahoma is lucky to have such an awesome plumber." Wallace Van Allen, owner of Van Allen Plumbing, in Reno, Nevada.
Californians' loss is Grand Lakes gain.
Gieser Plumbing, LLC opened for business on Grand Lake in 2009; however, owner Trace Gieser, a licensed plumbing contractor, has been plying his trade for more than 30 years.
Born and raised in Southern California, Trace got into the plumbing industry almost by accident. He was working at a sound place installing car audio systems when the business was sold. Because Trace was such a good, hard-working employee, his boss got him a job at a company a few doors away. That business was Carlson Plumbing, in Burbank.
Digging ditches for his first year and a half with Carlson Plumbing, Trace literally learned the plumbing business from the ground up. Following his coworker's suggestions to join the plumbers union, Trace went to plumbing school and joined Local 761. After four years, he went to work for a company in Woodland Hills as a journeyman plumber. He then worked on his own for a few years.
In 2007 he moved to Oklahoma to be near his mother, Sylvia Crawford, and began studying for his Oklahoma Contractors License. He got his Oklahoma contractors license, briefly worked for Zap Plumbing and went to work for himself.
"I wanted to go out on my own and have my own business," Trace said. "My mom would tell me that I would do great just doing service and repair work because that's what a lot of people needed."
With his mother as his secretary, Trace began doing service and repair work in the South Grand Lake area. Many of his first customers were elderly clients who needed an honest plumber they could rely on. Trace quickly proved he was that plumber.
While Trace was establishing himself, he was also trying to win over his future wife, Jaime, who would become his partner in the business.
"I met Jaime right away. I pursued her relentlessly and not successfully for a year before I finally broke her will," Trace jokes.
The couple were married in December 2008 and opened Gieser Plumbing in January 2009. Trace handled the plumbing services while Jaime worked in the office as a bookkeeper, dispatcher, etc.
"When we started, we had a truck, a trailer, a laptop and we bought a printer," Jaime said.
Their business goal was simple: Offer reliable, quality plumbing services in a prompt and friendly manner to the South Grand Lake area and surrounding communities, including Langley, Disney, Ketchum, Cleora, Bernice, Afton, Monkey Island, Vinita, Big Cabin, Adair, Spavinaw, Eucha, Strang, Pensacola and more.
This dedication to quality service has paid off. The company has steadily grown, adding employees to meet the demand for its services. Today, Gieser Plumbing has seven employees.
In 2014, Gieser Plumbing moved to its current facility at 36775 South Highway 82, in Langley.
As the companys workforce has grown, so has its abilities to handle larger jobs, including remodels and new construction. Even as Gieser Plumbing takes on bigger projects, Trace remains committed to providing the people of Grand Lake with first-class plumbing services.
"I promised myself, that no matter what, I would continue to do service and repair jobs because that's what people need," Trace said.
Whether you have a small repair or are planning a remodel or new construction, Gieser Plumbing is the team to call for all your plumbing needs in the Grand Lake area.
