Gateway to Grand Lake Christmas Parade, Ketchum, OK

The Annual  “Gateway to Grand Lake Christmas Parade” is scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Ketchum, OK and is sponsored by the “South Grand Lake Regional Airport”.   Parade participants can pick up entry forms at Buddy Foods (Ketchum) and Speedy’s (Langley) Convenient Stores.

Everyone is invited to Ketchum High School to see Santa at the Awards Ceremony following the parade.  Candy, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate will be served while Door Prizes are being called!  Door Prize Tickets are $1 each and are purchased at the Awards Ceremony.  The top door prize is a 50“ TV, winners of the Parade will be announced, and the “Judges Choice” parade entry will receive $ 700.00.  Additionally, winners of the following categories will receive $200.00 each:    (A)  Marchers/Walkers/Horses     (B)   Floats      (C) Auto/Wheels.

The South Grand Lake Regional Airport is the recipient of the “Oklahoma Airport of The Year  Award for 2019” and Brent Howard received the prestigious ” Airport Manager of the Year” by the “Oklahoma Airport Operations Association”.   Mr. Howard is “Grand Marshall” of the 2019 parade.  

 If you would like to donate to the 2019 parade fund, make your tax-exempt checks payable to South Grand Lake Regional Airport and mail them to SGLR Airport   35602 South 4467 Road, Vinita, OK  74301.  We wish to thank our present donors,   Dr. Frank Sommer, Jimmy Kuykendall, Brent Howard, Mark Delozier, and Art Box.     The City of Ketchum will be donating 10 bicycles to 10 door prize ticket winners.
